Looking at the people we loved the most for inspiration, we knew we had to create a fabric that was soft like silk yet durable, non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals. Our founder fell in love with Micro Modal, a fabric known for having fantastic functionality like wrinkle-resistant, breathable, buttery soft with great stretch.
Douceur Soft, was created with each one of you in mind, to give you and your family, the comfort you should never compromise on. Our Exclusive fabric is nothing you have experienced before. It was crafted with natural fibers and treated with our patented softener to give your loungewear, the ultimate softness.

ECO- FRIENDLY
Douceur Soft™ Modal have gained the reputation for their environmentally responsible closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource effciency and low ecological impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.
BREATHABLE
DouceurSoft™ Modal supports body temperature regulating properties through their moisture management. Derived from natural material, the microscopic fibrils of cellulosic fibers are structured to regulate the absorption and release of moisture, contributing to more breathable fabrics that supports the body’s natural thermal regulation.

The smooth fiber surface of Douceur Soft™ Modal fibers absorbs moisture more efficiently than cotton. This supports the body’s natural thermal regulating mechanism, keeping your skin feeling pleasantly cool.

HYPO-ALLERGENIC
Douceur Soft™is naturally antibacterial. It inhibits the growth of fungus, bacteria and viruses that cause you to itch. Modal is ideal for those with atopic dermatitis, allergies, sensitive skin and eczema.
HOW IS OUR MICRO MODAL MADE ?
Our Micro Modal is crafted from sustainably harvested beech trees. It is broken down and turned into a pulp, which is spun into a ‘‘honey-like’ mass and is then pressed through micro-fine nozzles and the fibers are spun. They are treated again several times and washed, stretched, cut and dried.
From this step, the fibers are shipped to our knitting house in Portugal to be turned into fabric.
From there, we send it to our dye house, where it undergoes a patented softening process exclusively developed for DOUCEUR Soft™
